Use
Lewis Pulling Collars to save money over buying
specific multiple pulling grips.
Available with
one, two, three or four legs, a pulling collar
staggers the pull, thereby eliminating the
problems associated with pulling large "bundles"
of cables with only a single grip. Pulling
through a sweep becomes less stressful on the
conduit system, because the cables do not enter
the turn all at once. This tool is of great
importance to customers who are concerned about
the integrity of their conduit system and who
are pulling more than one cable at a time.
Pulling grips are
attached to each collar eye with a swing link or
swivel. Collars can be ordered with built-in jaw
and eye swivels or swing links can be purchased
separately. The LPC SEG series is a new offering
from LEWIS. These pulling collars feature a
built-in solid main pulling eye that is
resistant to abrasion, and provides a solid main
attachment point for the pulling line. The
swivel action of the eye is extremely helpful
when cable twisting is a concern. The swivel is
rounded and gives the user a smoother leading
edge that will glide over seams and
irregularities in the conduit system.
