Manufacturing now offers three hot new lanyards.
The Slow-Stop™
Lanyard provides a shock absorbing fall arrest that meets ANSI Drop
Standard Z-359.
Our Single and Dual Positioning Retractable Lanyards
feature elasticized interiors which draw slack out of the lanyard
while in use. This minimizes trip hazard associated with a slack
lanyard. These lanyards meet ANSI 10.14. Lanyard Anchors are now
available in several lengths for a variety of work environments.
These provide a safe tie-off point for all models of fall arrest
harnesses.
Now Lewis offers expandable, shock absorbing
Fall Protection Lanyards made of high-visibility
yellow nylon. Available in 2’, 4’ and 6’ lengths.

Always use the
shortest tail rope possible. Tail ropes and fall deceleration lanyards (Slow-Stop)
should be Arranged so maximum free fall is 1.8 feet (0.5 meters).
Never wrap the
tail rope or fall deceleration device around any type of Structure metallic or
otherwise to shorten the length of said device. This Creates an abrasion point
And creates unnecessary fall hazards. |

 Slow-Stop™ Lanyard
 The Lewis Slow-Stop™ Lanyard
provides the user a means of FALL DECELERATION.
The Slow-Stop Lanyard shall not be used
as a work positioning device. |

Single-Positioning Retractable Lanyard
The Lewis Retractable Lanyard provides the user a means of WORK POSITIONING.
The Lewis Retractable Lanyard, either in the single
or
dual configuration shall not be used as a fall deceleration or fall arrest
device. |

Dual-Positioning Retractable Lanyard
The Lewis Retractable Lanyard provides the user a means of WORK POSITIONING.

or dual configuration shall not be used as a fall deceleration or fall arrest

Flexible Steel Tail Ropes
The Lewis Tail Rope provides the user a means of work
positioning.
Made of finest grade plastic coated aircraft cable. Available in 1’ through 14’
lengths in 1’ increments. Available with one snap hook and one 3” D-ring or snap
hooks on both ends.

The Lewis tail rope is not intended for fall arrest, and/or fall
deceleration. The user is required to utilize a deceleration lanyard,
(Slo-Stop) or other type of fall deceleration device in addition to our tail
rope (as shown in the photo). |
